On Belarus’ participation in the 81st General Meeting of the International Electrotechnical Commission
16.10.2017The delegation of Belarus led by First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus Mr Valentin Tataritsky took part in the 81st General Assembly of the International Electrotechnical Commission (October 9 — 13, 2017, Vladivostok, Russia).
Taking into account rapid development of electronics, information and communication technologies and smart energy the event was devoted to the consideration of such issues as distribution of energy resources related to the electric grid, forecasting of capacity of the renewable energy sources and their integration into the energy system, electrical equipment and systems for railways. In order to implement the agreements reached, the general plan for the IEC for 2018-2023 was developed.
On the margins of the 81st IEC General Meeting Assembly Belarus’ delegation held a number of bilateral meetings with the IEC senior officials, delegations and companies who take part in the event.
