A representative of Belarus took part in the WTO workshop on market access for services

On October 9-13, 2017, an advanced WTO workshop on market access for services was held in Geneva. The event was attended by 30 representatives of WTO Member States and countries acceding to the Organization, including the Republic of Belarus.
During the workshop the participants discussed the main trends in the world trade in services, including current issues of electronic commerce and investments in the field of services, particularities of concluding preferential agreements on market access for services, as well as international investment agreements. In addition, WTO experts gave recommendations for the work with databases on services and for the assessment of regulatory measures in service sectors applied by the WTO Members.
