Belarusian MPs Take Part in the IPU’s 139 Session
15.10.2018On 14-18 October, Geneva is hosting the 139th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union’s Assembly. The session is attended by the delegation of Belarus.
On 15 October, Ms. Alla Naumchik, Vice-Chair of the Standing Committee on the environment, land use and the Chernobyl catastrophe of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, delivered a statement in discussion on migration.
In her statement the MP from Belarus stressed the importance of implementing the President of Belarus’ initiative on the commencement of a global strategic dialogue in the context of addressing the challenge posed by migration.
