On the 138th session of the WHO Executive Board

The 138th session of the Executive Board of the World Health Organization was held on 25-30 January 2016 in Geneva.

The agenda included the following issues: WHO reform, prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases, public health dimension of the world drug problem, promoting health through the life course, preparedness, surveillance and response. During the session draft global health sector strategies on HIV, viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections were introduced .
