On the participation of the representative of MART in the WTO public procurement seminar
19.11.2018On November 13-15, 2018, an in-depth WTO workshop on government procurement was held in Geneva. On behalf of Belarus Ms. Natalya Dulchevskaya, Deputy Head of the Procurement Regulatory Department of the Public Procurement Department of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade, took part in the seminar.
In addition to the general issues of law enforcement of the WTO Agreement on Government Procurement, the participants discussed the ways to improve government regulation on the fight against corruption, collusion of suppliers in government procurement, and also studied the practice of building an effective system of appeal in government procurement.
The advanced international experience will be used to further improvement of the national government procurement system as well as enhancing its effectiveness and development of favorable conditions for doing business in Belarus.
