Belarus Speaks at the 2018 International Dialogue on Migration
10.10.2018On 8 and 9 October, Geneva was hosting the second session of the 2018 International Dialogue on Migration.
On 8 October, Mr. Vadim Pisarevich, Deputy Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN in Geneva, spoke at the interactive debate organized during a session on global migration governance, which was chaired by IOM’s Director-General Antonio Vitorino. In his remarks the Belarusian diplomat highlighted the importance of Belarus’ initiative related to the commencement of a global strategic security dialogue in the context of addressing the challenge posed by large-scale forced displacement.
