The Belarusian delegation took part in the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting

The delegation of the Republic of Belarus is participating in the 34th session of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), which takes place at the headquarters of UNCTAD in Geneva from 1 to 3 November 2017. The Republic of Belarus is represented in the session by Ms. Tatsiana Rybak, the Head of the Directorate of Regulation of Accounting, Reporting and Audit of the Ministry of Finance. Ms. Rybak was elected as an expert of the said Intergovernmental Working Group of UNCTAD in April 2017 at the organizational session of the UN Economic and Social Council.
The 34th meeting of the Intergovernmental Working Group will review the issues of ensuring comparability of reporting, contribution to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, significance of information disclosure in risk assessment, as well as a number of other issues of improvement of quality and utility of reporting in decision-making.
