ITC seminar for Belarusian textile enterprises was held in Brest
11.02.2020On 3-7 February 2020 seminar “Wholesale management in the fashion industry” was held in Brest for the enterprises of Belarusian textile industry. Representatives of the concern “Bellegprom” and Belarusian textile enterprises took part in the seminar.
The event was organized by the International Trade Center (ITC, based in Geneva) in cooperation with the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support for Entrepreneurs under the project “Eastern Partnership. Ready to Trade – an EU4Business Initiative”.
The participants have learned modern techniques of efficient organization of production and sale of clothing with emphasis on seasonality, as well as inventory management and production planning skills with the aim to ensure efficiency of wholesale distribution in export markets.
The event will enhance export potential of Belarusian small and medium-sized textile enterprises, as well as contribute to raising their competitiveness in the international market, including the EU countries.
