On Belarus exposition on the International Day of Intellectual Property
26.04.2019Belarus participates in the exhibition on the joint topic “Sport and Intellectual Property” at the WIPO headquarters in Geneva.
National stands, dedicated to the International Day of Intellectual Property, were also organized by Australia, Spain, Mexico, Indonesia, Turkey and South Korea.
Belarusian exposition is prepared by the Permanent Mission of Belarus in Geneva in cooperation with the Foundation “Directorate of the II European Games 2019” and the National Center for Intellectual Property of Belarus and is dedicated to the II European Games 2019, which will take place on 21 – 30 June in Minsk.
Along with the general presentation of the Games, the special information about the trademark of the above event, its copyright holder, and broadcasting is available for the visitors of the exhibition. In Belarus, the legal protection for the symbols of the Games and the European Olympic Committees is provided at a high professional level, with the aim to prevent illegal copying and use of the symbols, for example, in the production of souvenirs, promotion of goods and services on the eve of the Games.
