On participation of Mr. Koltovich, Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Commerce of Belarus, in the session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Competition Law and Policy

The delegation of the Republic of Belarus is taking part in the session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Competition Law and Policy under the auspices of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and multilateral and bilateral side-events. The intergovernmental meeting is taking place at the UNCTAD headquarters in Geneva from 5 to 7 July 2017. The delegation of Belarus is headed by Mr. Vladimir Koltovich, the Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Commerce. The delegation also comprises the representatives of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Commerce as well as of the Permanent Mission of Belarus in Geneva.

The meeting will review the issues of strengthening the capacity of national competition authorities, enhancing of the international cooperation in the investigation of cross-border competition cases as well as other matters in the area of antimonopoly regulation and development of competition.

The head of delegation of the Republic of Belarus will hold bilateral meeting with the senior officials of UNCTAD and the International Trade Centre of UNCTAD/WTO.
