On the participation of the representative of the NCIP in the 27th session of the WIPO Program and Budget Committee

On September 11-15, 2017 the 27th session of the Program and Budget Committee of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) was held in Geneva. The meeing was attended by the Head of the Financial and Economic Department of the National Center of Intellectual Property Zhanna Gribko.
The main outcome of the meeting was the completion of the Committee’s review of the proposed Program and Budget for the 2018-2019 biennium. It is expected that the document will be approved during the 57th Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the WIPO Member States (October 2-11, 2017).
The Committee also reviewed the reports of the WIPO oversight bodies and the External Auditor and the report on the implementation of the Program and Budget for the 2016-2017 biennium. The WIPO Member States continued to discuss the issue of opening new external offices.
