On holding a high-level online conference “Harnessing Inter-Regional Integration for the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals”

On 20 May 2021, Belarus and Barbados in partnership with UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) will hold the high-level online conference “Harnessing Inter-Regional Integration for the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals"

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and exchange views on how the horizontal collaboration among regional groupings can contribute to the achievement of the SDGs.

During 2 special panel sessions the representatives of the integration groupings and international organizations will discuss ways to maximise the contribution of inter-regional integration to SDGs attainment, and to facilitate regular and continuing collaboration among regional integration groupings
