About the participation of Mr. Vladimir Koltovich, Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade in the session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Competition Law and Policy under the auspices of the UNCTAD
16.07.2019On 10-12 July 2019, the 18th session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Competition Law and Policy took place in Geneva under the auspices of UNCTAD. The Belarusian delegation was headed by H.E. Mr. Vladimir Koltovich, Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade, who presented of the draft legal Review of the Belarusian antimonopoly legislation prepared by the UNCTAD.
Following the discussion, the UNCTAD will complete drafting the Review and its recommendations which will be the basis for further improvement of antimonopoly laws and the development of a competitive environment in Belarus.
On 10 July 2019, Vladimir Koltovich met with the Deputy Secretary General of UNCTAD Ms. Isabelle Durant to discuss further steps in the development of cooperation between Belarus and the Organization in terms of competition policy.
