Permanent Representative of Belarus chaired the 113th session of UNECE Executive Committee
25.01.2021On 22 January 2021, the 113th official session of the Executive Committee of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) took place in Geneva under the chairmanship of the Permanent Representative of Belarus to Geneva H.E. Mr. Yury Ambrazevich.
The Executive Committee considered the report of the Chairman of the Conference of European Statisticians, which unites the heads of national statistical offices of the countries of the region and serves as the acknowledged platform for developing statistical standards and for measuring the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. The ExCom also adopted the report of the UNECE Committee on Forests and the Forest Industry on its activities in 2020, aiming, above all, at supporting national policies for sustainable forest management and at developing relevant analytical studies for countries of the region.
