During the coming years UNICEF’s efforts will be aimed at assisting the Government of Belarus in four main areas: the creation of a safe and supportive environment for the child, the rights of children with special needs and disabilities, the creation of a favorable environment to reduce the vulnerability of young people and their full participation in decision-making, the examination of children’s situation and strengthening partnership for the implementation of children's rights. It is expected that UNICEF will mobilize for this purpose more than 8 million dollars of international technical assistance.
