On the participation of Belarus’ delegation in the meeting of the WTO Committee on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures
02.03.2018On March 1-2, 2018 the meeting of the Committee on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures of the World Trade Organization (WTO) took place in Geneva. Belarus as an observer state has been represented at the meeting by Mr Kirill Glushchenko, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
The participants of the meeting have discussed the information of the WTO members on national regimes in the field of sanitary, phytosanitary and veterinary measures (SPS measures), on the implementation of the provisions of the WTO SPS Agreement, international technical assistance and cooperation, as well as specific trade concerns of the WTO members.
