On the visit of Mr. Houlin Zhao, Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union, to Belarus

The Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union Mr. Houlin Zhao visits Belarus to participate in the joint meeting of the 52nd Board of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC Board) and of the 23rd Coordination Council of the CIS held on April 18 – 19. He will also deliver a statement at the opening ceremony of the XXIV International Forum on Telecommunications, Information and Banking Technologies «TIBO-2017» and Belarusian ICT summit. Delegations from 27 countries, international and regional organizations will take part in the events.
On 18 April the Secretary General of ITU met the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mr. A.Kobyakov. The parties discussed the current state and possible areas of future cooperation between Belarus and ITU.
