Permanent Representative of Belarus chaired the 114th session of UNECE Executive Committee
12.02.2021On 12 February 2021, the 114th official session of the Executive Committee of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) took place in Geneva under the chairmanship of the Permanent Representative of Belarus

The Executive Committee considered the report of the Chairman of UNECE Committee on Environmental Policy, which serves as a platform to discuss issues on environmental protection, developing international environmental law and supporting international initiatives in this area. At the request of the Bureau of the Executive Committee, a special briefing by UNECE Executive Secretary Ms. Olga Algayerova and Director of the UNDP Regional Bureau for Europe and the CIS
Ms. Mirjana Spoljaric-Egger was devoted to regional cooperation among UN international organizations within the Issue-Based Coalitions on gender equality, youth and adolescents, on environment, on social protection and health, large movements of people and on sustainable food systems.
