Permanent Representative of Belarus chaired the 111th session of UNECE Executive Committee
06.10.2020On 5 October 2020, the 111th official session of the Executive Committee of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UN ECE) took place in Geneva under the leadership of H.E. Mr. Yury Ambrazevich, Permanent Representative of Belarus in Geneva.
During the session, participants discussed organizational aspects of holding in April 2021 in Geneva the 69th UN ECE session on the topic “Promoting circular economy and sustainable use of natural resources”, as well as the preparation to the Regional Forum of Sustainable Development in the UN ECE region in March 2021. The EXCOM considered implementation of the Commission’s initiatives in response to the negative socio-economic impact of the pandemic COVID-19.
