On the Statement at the Plenary Session of the Conference on Disarmament
10.02.2021On February 10, 2021, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the UN Office in Geneva H.E. Mr. Yury Ambrazevich made a statement at the Plenary Session of the Conference on disarmament on behalf of the States – Members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
The statement expressed concern by the current state of international security and reaffirmed support for the Conference on disarmament as a single multilateral negotiating forum for resolving issues of disarmament, non-proliferation and arms control.
On behalf of the CSTO Members, the Head of the Belarusian delegation has expressed the readiness to constructively engage in the solution of all pressing problems in the field of disarmament and international security.
