On the participation of Belarus’ delegation in the negotiations on State support of agriculture in the WTO
31.10.2018On October 30, 2018. Belarus’ delegation led by Ms. Alla Lomakina, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food, held negotiations on domestic support for agriculture with several WTO members in the context of Belarus’ WTO accession.
The meeting provided for the constructive exchange of views and resulted in concrete arrangements on the next steps of Belarus in the negotiations on agriculture.
During the consultations with the experts of the WTO Secretariat the Belarusian delegation has received recommendation on further development of negotiating documents with the view to discuss them at the next special meeting on domestic support for agriculture in the first quarter of 2019.
