On the online training on e-health and telemedicine
03.09.2020On September 1, 2020, an online training “Development of e-health to ensure a healthy lifestyle and promote well-being for everyone at any age” was held on the basis of Gomel and Grodno State Medical Universities.
The event was organized by the International Telecommunication Union in cooperation with the Odessa National Academy of Communications named after A.S. Popov (Ukraine) with assistance from the Permanent Mission of Belarus to the internatational organizations in Geneva.
The participants have examined the issues related to the creation of e-health management systems and specialized medical information systems, as well as the use of e-health tools to provide medical services during quarantine and to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The acquired knowledge and experience will contribute to the growth of the expert potential of the Belarusian medical universities and health care institutions as well as to the introduction of innovative approaches and techniques in ensuring universal health coverage in Belarus, especially in hospitals and clinics in small towns and rural areas.
