On the participation of the delegation of Belarus in the meeting of the UNCTAD Consultative Group on Enterprise Reporting and the Sustainable Development Goals
22.05.2018Session of the Consultative Group on Enterprise Reporting and the Sustainable Development Goals held under the umbrella of UNCTAD took place in Geneva on 17-18 May, 2018.
The Republic of Belarus was represented by Ms. Tatsiana Rybak, Head of the Directorate of Regulation of Accounting, Reporting and Audit of the Ministry of Finance.
The consultative group has discussed the working version of UNCTAD's Guidance on core indicators for enterprise reporting on the SDGs with a view to adaptation of the corporate reporting system to the new requirements resulting from the adoption of the Agenda 2030 by the UN Members.
The Guidance will be implemented by Belarus in terms of elaboration of new standards for enterprise reporting. The indicators covered by the Guidance will be related to economic, ecologic, social and management aspects of enterprises’ work for better assessment of climate changes, rational use of natural resources, gender equality, corporate management.
