II European Games in Minsk will be free of smoking

The multisport forum, which will be held in the Belarusian capital from June 21 to June 30, 2019, will continue the tradition that began in the Olympic movement since the Games in Calgary in 1988.

 According to the Plan for the II European Games of 2019 as a smoking-free competition, smoking will be prohibited at all sports facilities of the Games, in the Athletes' Village, at catering facilities and in hotels, fan zones. In all places where smoking is restricted, appropriate signs will be installed. For those residents and guests of Minsk who smoke the specially equipped smoking areas will be allocated outside the perimeter of the facilities, and if necessary, volunteers will help them find them.

 During the Games, everyone will be able to take part in the campaign for the exchange of tobacco products for souvenirs with the symbols of the II European Games.
