Belarusian delegation participates in the workshop on the revised WTO Agreement on Government Procurement

The workshop “WTO Agreement on Government Procurement: accession, implementation and new tools”, which was organized by the WTO Secretariat and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, took place in Geneva on 12-13 March 2018.

Ms. Irina Tretyakova, Head of the Coordination and Supervision Department of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus, Ms. Natalia Dulchevskaya, Deputy Head of the Legal Affairs Department of the Ministry, as well as experts from EAEU member states and the Eurasian Economic Commission participated in the workshop.

The event was organized to share experience and practice on implementation of the revised WTO Agreement on Government Procurement, its compliance to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union, on accession to the Agreement on Government Procurement, to enhance awareness on the WTO GPA Committee.

Belarus delegates presented an overview of the national legislation of the Republic of Belarus on government procurement in terms of its compliance with the WTO Agreement on Government Procurement and the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.
