Permanent Representative of Belarus Mr. Yury Ambrazevich chaired the 103th session of UNECE Executive Committee
05.02.2019On 1 February 2019, the 103rd session of the Executive Committee of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe took place in Geneva under the chairmanship of H.E. Mr. Yury Ambrazevich, the Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN Office in Geneva.
Participants of the session discussed practical aspects of the organization in 2019 of the Regional Forum on Sustainable Development, the 68th session of the UNECE, as well as the “Day of Cities” event, which will take place before the Commission session with the participation of representatives of city administrations and academia of UNECE countries.
The Executive Committee reviewed activities of the Working Group on Aging, the Committee on Forests and the Forest Industry, and considered the work of the secretariat of the UNECE Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes.
