On the meeting of the Permanent Representative of Belarus in Geneva Mr. Yury Ambrazevich with the delegation of the EAEU Court
10.10.2019On October 9, 2019, in Geneva the Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva H.E. Mr. Yurу Ambrazevich met with the delegation of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) which takes part in the World Trade Organization (WTO) Public Forum (October 8-11, 2019).
The EAEU Court ensures uniform application of the EAEU law by the Member States and organs of the Union. The headquarters of the Court is located in Minsk.
The delegation of the EAEU Court to participate in the Public Forum consists of the President of the Court Mr. Zholymbet Baishev, the Vice- President of the Court Ms. Erna Ayriyan, Judges Mr. Alexander Fedortsov, Mr. Denis Kolos, Mr. Armen Tumanyan, Ms. Venera Seitimova, Mr. Konstantin Chaika, Ms .Tatyana Neshataeva, representatives of the Secretariat of the Court.
During the meeting the Judges of the Court were informed about the work carried out in the WTO, the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and on other international platforms in Geneva on the promotion of the interests of the Union and its member countries. An exchange of views on possible ways to increase the use of the Geneva platform in order to enhance the recognition and credibility of the EAEU in the context of the Belarusian presidency of the Union in 2020 took place.
