On the signing of the protocol between Belarus and Switzerland on completion of negotiations on Belarus’ accession to the WTO
14.12.2018On December 14, 2018, the agreement on the completion of bilateral negotiations on market access for goods between Belarus and Switzerland in the framework of Belarus’ accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) was signed in Geneva.
On behalf of Belarus the document was signed by the Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva Mr. Yury Ambrazevich, on behalf of Switzerland – by the Permanent Representative to the WTO and EFTA Mr. Didier Chambovey.
Switzerland became the 20th WTO member with which the protocol on the completion of bilateral negotiations on Belarus’ accession to the WTO was signed. In total Belarus has concluded bilateral negotiations with 10 WTO members in 2017-2018.
