Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus I.Kostevich takes part in the ILO’s Governing Body

On March 21, 2023, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus Irina Kostevich, head of the delegation of the Republic of Belarus to the 347th session of the Governing Body of the International Labor Organization, met with the Director General of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Gilbert F. Houngbo.

The parties discussed the current agenda in the interaction of Belarus with the ILO.

The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus spoke during the meeting of the ILO’s Governing Body to present information on the activities of the Government of Belarus for strengthening social dialogue and protecting the rights of workers.

Iryna Kostevich held also meetings with the heads of delegations of a number of states to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation within the competence of the Organization during participation in the session of the ILO’s Governing Body.
