On the participation of the Belarusian delegation in the meeting of the WIPO Advisory Committee on Enforcement

On 3-5 September 2018, the 13th session of the WIPO Advisory Committee on Enforcement took place at the headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva. Belarus was represented by Mr. Alexander Zayats, Deputy Head of the Department of Law and Treaties of the National Center for Intellectual Property.

During the session, a number of issues which are of interest to Belarus were considered, including those related to damage assessment from violation of intellectual property rights, prevention of IP rights violations.

Mr. Alexander Zayats presented a report on the powers of the state bodies of Belarus to resolve disputes in the field of intellectual property.
