Belarusian delegation participates in the 60th session of the Compliance Committee of the Aarhus Convention
14.03.2018The 60th session of the Compliance Committee under the Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-Making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters (Aarhus Convention) takes places in Geneva 12 – 16 March 2018. The UNECE carries out functions of a secretariat to the Aarhus Convention.
Mrs. Nadezhda Zdanevich, Consultant of the State Ecological Expertise Division of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus, participated in the open session of the Committee, which took place on 12 March 2018.
During the meeting, the Belarusian side presented information on measures taken by the Republic of Belarus aimed to comply with the provisions of the Aarhus Convention and to implement recommendations of the Compliance Committee.
